The course is designed for those who want to get a better understanding of how to decode the author's intended meaning applying different schools of thought. The novelty the course suggests is in interpreting the literary text taking into consideration the theory of discourse and conversation analysis. We shall see in what cases we could apply it to the process of story interpretation in order to understand its underlying meaning.
