Research is an intricate process involving so many aspects to be carefully considered in order to produce a valuable contribution to the already existing knowledge. It can be both challenging and great fun. What one should realize that it is not done randomly and superficially. It is a systematic, disciplined inquiry aiming to find concrete solutions to the identified research problem.
While conducting research, the researcher is expected to apply a concrete research method that will provide trustworthy information about problems. The researcher should gather and interpret concrete data that will allow them to understand, theorize about or explain experience.
The course is intended to explain the differences between the main research methods which will allow to interpret the gathered data. It also touches upon the specificity of academic writing and how it should be structured.
